What to get checked
- Pilot and burner cleaned so the flame is steady and blue.
- Thermostat and gas valve working.
- Tank drained of mud and scale.
- Flue pipe clear, and the geyser in an open or well-ventilated place.
- Rubber pipes and joints leak-tested with soapy water.

Gas mistris get very busy once winter starts. A check in autumn is quicker to arrange, and small faults are fixed before they become big ones. Prices are approximate and depend on the job.
